Well loved old antique pocket watch holder or French jewelry or vitrine display box:
~ I am guessing this is from the Napoleon III era - c 1852 - 1870
~ Intact and functioning well
~ Beveled glass with no large scratches or abrasions to note
~ Decorative brass edging holds the glass
~ Elevated by stylized shell curved legs
~ Gold toned original silk lining remains but is faded and tattered - lends to the character in my opinion
~ Chateau chic all the way around
~ Should last a few hundred more years if the new owner cherishes & takes good care of it as previous owners have

*Condition: Acceptable Antique Condition . Lining is obviously shredded - but all the above is part of the charm of this old old historic box.
