The Apollo 8 Speedster represents Omega's ongoing dedication to space exploration. This timepiece commemorates the first time man went behind the moon. On December 24th, 1968, the crew of Apollo 8 went behind the moon for the first time. The famous "We'll see you on the other side," came from this mission. This piece is a full ceramic case with sapphire crystals on both front and back. It features a semi skeletonized dial with an exhibition case back. It has the Omega 1869 movement. This one comes with its original box, papers, and warranty cards.
