A 19th or early 20th century pair of antique gold filled folding lorgnettes. They are stamped ( DRGM D50R) under the nose bridge. The lenses have light scuffing but nothing major and are intact. The frames have minor tarnish and ware. The diameter of the spectacles is approx. 39 mm each. The handle has inlaid enamel. The length when closed is approx. 5 1/2 inches. The flip open mechanism works very nicely. More pictures upon request. Please take note of measurements as items may look larger in the photos than they actually are.There is long black thread to hold the glasses.
It comes with sleek black velvet pouch.
