Handcrafted & Painted Hammered Gold Metal Wood Red Satin Jewelry Storage Trinket.
In excellent condition. This is a handcrafted and hand painted item. It has a distressed look with brilliantly bright red , gold and brown colors. Heavy and sturdy. High quality. Perfect companion for a cherished piece of jewelry.
There is a Quartz stone inside the keepsake Box with cross sign on top of it.( Quartz stone is approx. 1 3/4" x 1 1/2"x 1/4"
Very detailed workmanship with nails driven into the gold trim around the rim.
Motifs are flowers and 2 birds back to back . There is a finger ring on top.
Wood paint seems to have worn off over the years leaving it a stunningly beautiful patina. Almost like someone painted several layers in preparation for it to age to its own beauty.
The red satin inside is clean and well sewn. Shallow. There are cushions at the bottom. Good for storing small rings or a bracelet.
No mark, never seen anything like it. measures approximately 4.5 inches in diameter.
About 3 inches tall with lid. There are 3 rubber feet on the bottom.
